FELA! the musical depicts the true story of the legendary Nigerian musician Fela Kuti whose soulful Afro beat rhythms ignited the spirit of empowerment and cultural awareness in a generation.
You certainly don't want to miss this show. I saw it at the National Theatre in London and being a serious Fela fan (both music and message) I had a few criticisms but nothing that would prevent me from seeing this again or recommending it. Thoroughly entertaining, the music and choreography impressive too. A must see.
