My current abode... There is so much to say about London, so I won't! Not enough space really. Plus there is so much on the internet and better still, you can visit it to get the real flavour.
There is one thing I do find interesting, and that is how a graphic representation can contain so much information and at the same time be so simple yet iconic.
The London tube (equivalent of a subway) map captures this idea. With each colour representing a line and the circles showing where lines meet, and the interesting station names which in themselves have so much history.
Whats your favourite stop? No you can't chose Notting Hill.... just joking. Or is there anything in the city or country that you live in that captures the spirit? Please share!

I loved the tube- so easy to navigate... my favorite stop was around the kensington area- can't remember which... too long ago. Must go back and see it all again!
I agree - there's something very nostalgic about the tube map for me.
In my teens I would hang around Covent Garden every single weekend... very romantic part of London in my opinion.
These days I'm totally into South/East London. Since moving here a year ago I've gotten to really appreciate this area which I had hardly ventured into previously (I was a West London girl for most of my life!).
P.s. Thanks for your comments on FashionSpace - any reason you've been hesitating to join?
Hey Cicada Studio, I live in North Kensingon, quite like it!
Amity, I quite like east lodon these days, theres is quite a lot going on there, especially creatively.
Hesitant about Fashionspace only because it is yet another thing to worry about updating. Will have a second look though.
rural girl that I am, I have never been on a subway
shocking, huh?
no way! you're not missing much though. they are not too pleasant in rush hour
The northern line from Totteridge(!) to Picadilly must be my favourite.....So many wonderful memories attached!!
I miss London very much... thanks for letting me see the tube map and remember old times!
