where art thou?
Something amazing started with Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite.
With tracks like Ascension (Don't ever wonder) and Sumthin' Sumthin', some say it was the birth of neo-soul.

That was all the way in 1996, wow. Anyways, we are waiting expectantly for a return, well.... I am.
Looks like maybe we'll hear something, sometime soon....
Black Summers' Night.....
Any other Maxwell fans out there?

I love Maxwell. I was speaking with someone in the music industry and was told that he had an album finished but the label sent him back to do it over.
Love, love, love me some Maxwell. Eagerly anticipating his new release. Hope it's soon.
Urban Hang Suite is a classic. He did release another album in 98: Embrya, but that wasn't quite as good as Urban Hang Suite imo. Since then, I haven't heard much... maybe a single here and there, but that's it.
I'd love to hear what he's been working on these past few years.
Absolute classic. I kinda liked Embrya. He also released 'Now' in 2001 which wasn't bad too but there's just nothing like the Urban Hang Suite. It was defining.
My husband sits waiting impatiently :)
